Sleep / Dine / experience
An invitation to our charming hillside retreat

The best place to stay in the Faroe Islands if you want to experience the magic of a remote village with the convenience and comfort of a hotel, namely breakfast and dinner.
Not all those who wander are lost
Gjógv is a great base for various excursions. It is only about an hour’s drive from the northern part of the islands – Norðuroyggjar, and the same from Vágar.
Rooms
Gjáargarður offers single, double rooms and family rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms with a separate toilet and a shower, as well as an extra bed available.
Gjáargarður has a total of 23 standard and superior rooms. There are 11 standard rooms in the main building and 12 superior rooms are in the new adjacent low-rise building.
All floors are accessible from the outside and all doorsteps have been modified to allow free movement around each floor.

Bring the strength and beauty of the Atlantic and cosy village charm to your events for a long-term perspective.
